All work by our shop will be estimated and approved by the client before work commences.
Restring Services
- Standard Restring (6‑string electric or acoustic) – $30
Includes: remove old strings, lightly clean fretboard and body contact points, install new strings, stretch and tune, quick inspection. Strings: customer supplies, or add cost of strings if supplied by the shop. - Bass Restring (4–5 string) – $30
Same as above; note that bass string sets are usually provided by the customer. - 12‑String / Floating Tremolo (such as Floyd rose) – $35–$40
- For more complex bridges or string counts; include extra time. Please call or text for inquiries on other instruments.


Setups & Playability
Standard Setup – $75
Includes: truss rod adjustment, action and intonation, nut and saddle tweaks as needed, pickup height adjustment, deep cleaning of fretboard and body, fretboard conditioning, and full playability check.
Fret Dressing + Setup – $120
Includes: light level/crown/polish of frets (for moderate wear), full setup as above, cleaning, and detailed play test.
Not for severe fret wear or partial/full refrets.
Electronics
- Electronics Diagnostic – $35 Identifies issues with noisy pots, jacks, switches, pickups, or wiring, etc. Applied to the first hour of labor if you proceed with the repair.
- Electronics Labor – $70 /hour Examples: jack or pot replacement, switch replacement, pickup swaps, complete rewires, shielded cavity work, active electronics on a case-by-case basis. Parts charged separately.


Additional Services
- Minor Hardware Adjustments – typically $20–$40
Examples: tuner replacement, strap button install/relocation, minor bridge/saddle hardware swaps (priced case‑by‑case). Additional work may be required. Call or text for inquiries - New Nut, Saddle(s) or Bridge – $50-80 – These are case-by-case basis and a setup is required at an additional cost. Call or text for inquiries.
Work I Do NOT Take On
- No neck resets on dovetail necks. Bolt-on necks are fine.
- No major structural repairs (e.g., broken headstocks, major cracks, warped necks).
- No cosmetic/finish work or restorations.
- No refretting work at this time. (I expect to be able to perform this work in the near future.)
